    nice looking vegetation.
what kind of trees are those?
that jump is beautiful but kind of.. small?
i'm considering building something about 3ft tall, out of 2 stacks of 10 skids back to back braced and nailed together with drit ramps on either side. steep ramps for more loft than distance. opinion?

The trees are eucalyptus, all that stuff you see on the ground is their bark....

I agree it is pretty small as of now. The pictures done do it justice its much steeper and the elevation drop from the jump to the landing will be significant (10 or so feet vertically)

Until we can clean out the landing area and do some test runs it will stay that size. We did some speed runs up to the lip today and we were probably hitting it at 20 or so we will be getting loads of distance. This will be the 1st jump so its more of a speed/ distance double rather than height.

This place is out in the boonies so nails, hammers, power tools cant be trucked in and out. All the logs and branches are being cut by hand with a regular saw.

Aren't you and rustyskills just 10 miles away from each other? Looks like the 580 hills are developing nicely.

no one is getting butt sore but most spots are secret if they werent then they wouldnt be there because they would get torn down and you dont dig for hours to no they're going to get torn down you dig in a discrete spot that sucks to get to so you know you'll be able to ride there for a while

i am 100% aware of that, which is why i was just asking what city they were in (because the vegetation looked familiar because i live in the east bay) but the with the huge deal you are making out of it i am over the top "secret spot".

Well at this point Im not to sure on if there is going to be any more progress/ updates on this spot.

I have a closer local oportunity to build a jump line on top of riding two existing lines. I'll post pics of the new line once it gets up and running.

    Post your NorCal FR!
