I wish I was driving out right now.
I will have to stay in Lake Placid this winter. I will be spending most of February in Vegas though for the race.
Next year at this time I plan on moving to Vegas for winters and returning back to N.Y. for the Whiteface gig. That's too promising to give up now.
So all I need is for a successful Mob n Mojave and another great year at Whiteface for that to happen.

That will be a well rounded week of riding almost every kind of terrain.

Plattekill, steep, scary, loose, steep and really technical.

Whiteface, crazy fast and scary would cup style sections along with some great rockgardens.

Diablow, fun, flowy, fast and smooth. And some pretty good technical rocks too.

Maybe I will take a week and do that too next summer. Every time I go to Whiteface I get stuck staying there for a week for some reason Something about the good biking, swimming and local brews.

You didn't mention anything about the cliff diving 1 mile away form the biking.

Cool vid. Those are a lot of trees to avoid... I see myself getting really well acquainted with them if I were to ever ride there.

As of now I am planning on staying most of February (3rd to 25th or so). Once all things go as planned I may stay an extra week or two.

It's very tempting to put all of my stuff in storage and come out next week for another 6 months. Man I do miss the riding out there.
