    New Toy

Well, I was lucky enough to get asked to test out a new DH proto. So I figured I would share with the group.

    8.2" Travel
    1.5 Headtube
    83mm BB
    150x12mm Maxle

Don't know how she rides yet, but I am excited to find out

Nah, Rocky Mountain has actual pros to test their stuff, I fall into the category of "crash test pilot".

Actually, its what the BS should have been, 1.5/83mm/150x12mm. Oh wait, Tranny did make that bike, it was called the Gran Mal

No worries, I'd still gladly take one as a prize, all the same.
I thought the frame looked familiar, because I had seen the drawings on the site.

Well, seeing as how there are only 2 in existence, it would be kind of tough to get you one

No idea on the timeframe, or pricing or when/if they will actually be going into production.

I'm too late, but I would have guessed Rocky Mountain.

The Evil shock is placed inside the linkage, and it has an adjustable headtube angle.
    Meh.

Ohhhhh.... that is nice! I want, I want, I want!

It reminds me so much of the Blindside, but it looks like it has its sh*t together. Personally, I feel Transition flopped on the Blindside. As you said sixsixtysix, it IS what the Blindside should have been, similar to the Gran Mal. (man do I love the Gran Mal) I might just be holding off on my new DH frame for another year. I really like this frame. I anticipate your review!
    Thanks

i think the man difference between this frame and the BS other than the specs is the missing pivot above the rear axle. this frame is very similar to a turner highline. a great bike as well.

it actually looks a LOT like the yeti 303-r

big ass single pivot with a linear movement linkage (albeit the yeti has a rail.. this has the little swing link). looks good though none the less.

I'm getting hooked up with the parts at a nominal cost, just trying to spec out what exactly is going work best on it.

So now that you have a better build than Dooodooo...

Come out to Cali for a weekend to break her in before you break her off in AZ.

Just give me the word player and I will clear a weekend out for you and Doo since I know he will try to bum a ride.

That built one isn't mine. I am working on the build kit for mine right now. Once I get this thing running I'll definitely head for Cali.
