    New Shock for M1

I don't know much about rear shox, but I do know that the Fox Vanilla RC that came with my 1998 M1 frame (small) is about to go. Instead of having it pushed I thought I might go for a new one but I have no idea on how to size it. The only numbers on the spring are 650-235.
    Any suggestions?
Thanks, I might post in Intense forum too and I did send an e-mail to Intense to ask.

those numbers mean the the spring rate of the spring (650ib) and the stroke(travel)(2.35). you also need to know the eye to eye length

Fox doesn;t list the 98, however the 99 according to Fox site is a 7.5 i2i x 2.0 stroke. Good luck.

I'll vouch for PUSH as well. They have done my Vanilla RC and Boxxer, as well as a few of my buds. Great guys who do awesome work. Good luck and enjoy.

How does a PUSH'd Vanilla RC ride? I have one that I was thinking about sending in for the $185 race kit. Please tell me that pedaling improves, because that thing just zaps the power from my legs...very nice everywhere else though.

Pedaling improves dramatically, it's fully worth sending it in. Be sure to tell them when you send it, that pedaling efficiency is a major issue, that way they make sure it has some real good platform built in.
