Listen! New Shiver top crown fo dat ass

Shiver owners, tell me what ya think of these crowns.

I made them double pinch bolt top and have a triple pinch bottom in the works that will hopefully reduce the twist problem that some are having, as well as the flex problem that I hear complained about so much.

I'd like more drop than my marzocchi "drop" crown does on my shiver. The clamping area is not quite as much as I'd like. I don't have a problem with "twisting" nor have I directly heard of any, but with super-tall stack-heights like my 1.5 headtube has, it's definitely at the limit of ajustability, and I have virtually no clearence for a tire larger(taller) than I am currently running.
I know in my heart that Ellsworth bikes are more durable by as much as double. AND they are all lighter...Tony Ellsworth

One thing that concerns me is that if enough force is exerted on the forks to twist them in the crowns, if you stop that twist, all the force is on the forks tubes. I'd rather straighten the forks out (although it's never happened to me in 2 seasons) than replace a damaged fork tube.
