    new to the scene

Hello, I am new to this forum... I have a Frankenstein bike, anyways... I have a Saint m800 setup: brake pods and rotors 8" f /6" r, running deore calipers and currently looking for some m800 calipers or 810's does anyone know if installing 810 Cal's on 800 pods will work? Thank you...

Never tried it but Shimano is pretty convinced it won't work great. I had a long conversation with them a few months ago about the ratios and volumes and asked them about compatibility of Servo Wave with their old linear levers. They swear it won't work. Shimano claims compatibility between practically every other brake part they've ever made. My guess is they'll end up being too grabby. I suppose I COULD test the theory but I'm pretty sure I won't love the result.
