New question here. new full face lid every season?

    real quick...
My helmet seems ok from last season, no falls on the head, the pads fit snug, and aside from some scratches I'm thinking to use it again for this season.

The only con is probably the gallon+ of venom sweat my head emits during 6 hours of shuttling (I wash the liner after EVERY day of riding).

Do you guys buy new lids every season? Or wear them for a couple of years?

I've had mine for 1 1/2 years and plan on using it till it breaks or the foam expires.

You're supposed to have one for Saturday and one for Sunday. Oh, and one for weekday rides.

Wear it till it wears out/is unsafe to ride with...or if you have tons of $$$$ then buy a new one as often as you feel like...
    I'd huck that...

Wash your pads and let them air dry. They'll get poofier.

Bell and other manufacturers recommend replacing the helmet every 3 years aproximately if there are no cracks or damage, CPSC recommends every 5 years.

ONE hit = get new helmet. - Most company's literature states this, and many have replacement pilicies so you can get a new helmet at a reduced price.

No hits? 3-5 years depending on quality.
