SR Suntour Duro D 130mm travel fork w/ 32mm stanchion tubes

    SRAM X.7 8-speed trigger shifters

    Pivit brand components

    Kenda 2.35 tires w/ Stick-E rubber compound

Can you post a pic of the bike? Do you know what year it is?

If you're new to riding in general, you should be able to ride the X6 for a while to learn the basic bike control skills before you start hucking your meat off tall things.

If you're an experienced rider looking to start going large, you may have bought a bike a little light for abuse.

You have good tires... but as you know the rest of your bike is entry level at best. Dont let it stop you from riding what you want, start saving for a better bike as you progress, use your bike to learn on.
