    New Bike?

I have my mind set on buying a new bike next year.Right now i am riding a Norco Charger hadtail, wich is an "All mountain" bike. Its a nice bike, great quality, but its too XC oriented.I would like to get another norco and was looking at the 04s since the 05s havent come out yet.Ill be DirtJumping, light Freeride, some trails and id like to try a tiny bit of DH.But mostly Dirt Jumping and light Freeridish stuff.I was looking at the 04 VPS Six,04 4BY,and the Shore Hardtails(wich would be way burlier than the frame i have now).Im 5'11 but still growing since im younger and about 155-160.I think ill have about 2000 canadian, but i can get some discounts,so I would get a bike around 2300 for maybe 1900.

    thanks alot

All of the ones you mention are nice rides, for my use (more FR then DJ) I would opt for the Norco VPS six. I am not sure how it would be for DJ, but for freeride it would be a fantastic option.

I understand you wanting to keep it Canadian. I am moving into my first Canadian made frame, and will admit am feeling pretty good to support our talent.

Not to rain on your parade, but a LOT of the better Norcos are sold out (the Six and higher end hardtails for sure), so you may have to do a bit of searching to find any that are still in stock. Sounds like you may have some hookups, but if you are waiting for a while, you may have to get an '05.

Those all sound cool, but out of 'em i would go with the vps six. that one sounds like it would be better suited to dh than all the other ones, and i think it would DJ okay.
