    New Bike

I'm on the search for a new bike. I'm looking for an all mountain bike that can take some freeriding, nothin North Shore, but some decent sized drops. I'm looking at a budget of about $1200 or less.

do you have and usable componets to switch over of are you looking for a full new rig?
Once that is decided then start looking for things to fit the bill. If you are new to the world of FR I would suggest going used, because a used frame will still offer you a quality ride with a small price. Plus I dont feel as bad when I bang up a "used" frame as I do when I put the first scratch on a new ride.

I recently picked up a used Bullit frame for about $400. If cheap is the key look for used.

Holy crap those are going for 1200

Id say Ibex Zone freeride there about $1200-1300 there a bit much for AM but i dont know of any other am/fr bike anywhere near $1200!

    Have you considered a HT?
