Need some help, need some suggestions

I have been freeriding for about a year and am starting to get fairly good, problem is I am always riding on garbage bikes. I am finally capable of purchasing a bicycle between the 2and 3 thousand dollar range. I need it to be strong enough to handle large drops and gaps but has to be within this price range. I would love a Specialized Big Hit but they are way more in cost right?

theres plenty more, but i'd say the glory and the 7.3 are probably your best bets. the bighit does come into that price range, but its not as nice imo

You could get a 7Point7 from rscycle.com for REAL cheap... its like 2.5k $ for the 06 model, and its just as good...

Check out Transition. Their stuff is super tough and the price is very good. I'm on my second Preston FR now after beating the original model for 3.5 years and they've only gotten better.
