get yourself a good rim since now

Badass durable but heavier = Mavic 729
Tubless, durable, great weight = Mavic 823
Good weight and a bit less durable = Mavic 721

If your on a budget I'd suggest the Alex Supra 4x

Mine have held up great all season at Whistler, Mount Washington etc, my wheel builder did say there were a bit of a mare to get laced, but what do you expect for so cheap.

I've had laserdisks, 325's and singletracks and turned them all egg shaped.
