I was hoping for super blinding myself. Oh well - still looks great.

That's just begging for some kind of color following the lines in some spots and leaving the aluminum showing in others.

So Intense built you one of these, then sold it out from under you? That just blows ass...

powdercoaters take this brush to smooth out welds and take little pits out.....also provides same finish look

SMT: There is no such thing as a "sicel brush". Sicels were one of the first habitants in Sicily, so that makes it a brush used/created by Sicels??

Sisal brush does exist, and it looks like this:

it isn't a brush.......Sicel brushing is what they call it.....it is where the smooth pits and rough welds from metal......it is a verb, not noun

Oh, you mean the verb SISAL BRUSHING? As in the brushing used in powdercoating when they use one of these?

I stripped and polished an aluminum frame before (wet sand, alu polish + rags) and it looked good, but man, it took for-ev-er.

I'd love to strip + polish my DHR but I'm not doing it without power tools. Did you do yours by hand or power assist? Looks sweet.

I hope you clear coated it. Unless, of course you don't mind polishing it every so often.

Looks sick!! You should take pics with your flash off though.
