    Intense.

    It's what's for dinner.

You're going to love that bike. That's the best pedaling DH rig I've ever ridden.

    Drop Crowns...

    Yea mate,

Was looking at the possibilty of using some drop crowns, but, I'd like to ride them stock ones first. Sorta used to the slightly slacker than usual angles, by the method I throw the hardware around in the dirt...

Hope is gonna pedal real good, there's a pedal happy DH/Epic race out there the following weekend!

    Here's the build:

Intense M3 Sky Blue Medium, 150 mm Dropout
Fox DHX Rear Shock, 450 pound spring for a 170-180 pound rider
    Chris King Steelset Headset
Chris King 20 mm bolt thru on 729 Front
Hadley 150 mm on 729 Rear
    Saint Brakes
    Saint Cranks w Blackspire chainring
Thomson 50mm stem mounted with Gold Protapers, ODI
SRAM X9 thumbshift, X0 Rr Derailer, Long cage
SUUUPER Light SDG I Fly C seat and post
Highrollers 2.7, 2.5, 2.3, 2.1 options with Maxxix Welterweight tubes
Marzocchi 888 R (wanted the Fox DH40, but my pockets are dry! )

Many thanks to Hap @ Competitive Cyclist for all the time, patience and everything else, that dude's a legend!

    Can't wait for Sunday!!!!

I touched that bike before you!! I visited Competitive Cyclist and actually held that frame. I like your DHX upgrade too. That is one beautiful bike, take care of it. The guys at Competitive Cyclist are cool as hell, and will do what they can to help you out. Good luck man!!

one aesthetic piece of advice - take those fugly orange rollers off, throw them in some black Ritt dye (available at markets and drugstores) in a pot of hot water and let soak for about an hour - black rollers will look much nicer (you are excused if MRP is a sponsor and you have to represent....)

That bike, an any Intense frame in general, looks amazing in that color.

Glad that Intense is adopting a slightly less tacky image (finish-wise) for their amazing bikes...

My front brake was not in that pic for the reason stated above. Spinergy got the proper hub adapter to me in a heartbeat though and all is good now.

OR you could just buy black rollers from MRP and have the orange on hand as backups (many a good man has been out of commission for a while becuase of lost rollers)
