He he , funny you should mention, I am a hustler photographer

    ...... kidding.

I appreciate the compliments man! But believe me, sometimes I am in way over my head with things. Being smart with money isn't exactly my strong suit.

I will say though, I am a very lucky guy to be involved with such a beautiful girl that can be the eye candy in a club one minute, then suited up in armour and hurling herself down the shore the next minute!

Very nice overall (bike and girl). You said she's like 5'9 right? That probably made it way easier to find a bike. My girlfriend has expressed some interest in riding and maybe she'll eventually get into it, but at 5'0" I feel like the only options are kids' bikes.

Oh well, I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Congrats to you though. Have fun!

    Looks good.

You can take that statement any way you like.
You better just go ahead and drop that seatpost down to the reflector... the trail gets pretty rough down there.

Sooo clean! I've got that bikes big brother as my shuttle monkey ride. I'm sure she'll love it, I've been considering getting one to use as heavy duty trail rig, would have to get a telescoping seatpost though...
    Bike good, work bad.

That bike looks like tons of fun. Are those pink ano levers? Now you just gotta pink ano the pedals. and the seatpost. And what would really top it off... Pink Ano rims!

I recently (6 months ago) got my girlfriend a fr bike. She's 5'3 and I found a XS haro x3 frame and built it up for her. I took her out once so far, hopefully more now that the weather is nice though.

I should've taken her to an easier place to ride though... I took her to our local mountain that we shuttle, and expected her to be able to ride all the trails we do without even thinking about it. She hadn't been on a bike in over 10 years...

Silly me. I ride there so much that the trails don't seem bad at all, but for someone who is not even comfortable on a bike yet, riding trails with any types of rocks or jumps is asking way too much. She fell a couple times, but was in good spirits. Just gotta take it easier on her the next couple times. Maybe do some ::gasp:: xc rides. Ugh boy then I'll really be in for it, the type of shape I'm in.

Oh well I'll try to get her out a lot more this summer when her classes are over.

Good luck man and snap some shots of her rippin it up! You don't need a bike to do that... just go out to a spot and have her push around and session some stuff. You take pictures while she rides... It'll be fun!

Yea for sure, I made that mistake as well on the first ride. I was used to the trails so it didnt seem very hard to me, but I guess for my girl who hadnt ridden a bike since she was 12... quite a different story!

I am picking my rig up this weekend, I just need to decide if its gonna be an 08' Bullit or an 07' Uzzi vpx !!!

I am sure you will have a lot of fun riding that.

Now all you need is a bike.

Ditto on this... 5' and mayyyybbbeee 3/4" ...though she won't admit to anything less than 5'2"!
First, I need to convince her that a proper bike will make the riding that much more fun.
Second, I need to convince her that I don't only ride stupidly steep trails and ridiculous stunts.
Third, I need to find her a bike with some decent suspension that actually fits her...
This should be nice and easy!
