Looks like Australian Pine. We have a lot of that crap here but I've never seen anyone build with it. I don't think the wood holds up very well, the bark rots off first and then the wood kinda crumbles.
    Cool stunts though.

oh, nah you bruddahs are unreal.

i used to live and ride there. i was one of the old skool guys that helped make some of the first st. louis heights trails back in '96. i'd spend all my sundays at waimea taking shuttles. ah, back in da day! now you boys are pushing the envelope far beyond what i would have ever thought of. i'm too old to even think of doing that stuff.

how far is that sick drop? is that st. louis hgts or can you tell?

    damn i miss it there.

I like 'em. Looks nice and green and sunny. I'm already missing that here on the East Coast.

Damn haole - try talking like a haole. The "white dude trying to speak pidgin" is painful to hear (or read).

    I miss the islands too...

What! you don't even know me! i'm not even haole. would you like to educate me in proper pidgin? or do you even have an education? its comments like yours that make others think Hawaii does not have "Aloha" on the islands. in all the years i lived there i never heard such inferior talk directed at me!. I hope wherever you're living now, you're not exhibiting this attitude. its not representative of the majority of the islanders who are warm and accepting of others, the true Ohana feeling....brah!

Sorry, I appear to have hurt your feelings. I didn't realize that my voicing an opinion - that cultivated accents are silly - was responsible for turning away tourists from the isles by tainting the spirit of aloha.

I'm technically not a haole either, having been born on Oahu (and living there for 8 months afterward before moving to Korea) and having lived on Kauai between the ages of 24 and 26 - does this mean that I can talk da kine without looking silly?

If it's working for you, so be it - no offense intended, just making an observation.

Sweet pics and riding, but isn't it a little dangerous for someone to ride so close to you on a stunt like in the first picture? Also, do you and all of your riding buddies always dress alike?

Sorry, sometimes I think I am witty, my wife tells me I'm not. Either way, incredible pics, incredible riding!!!
