I was in Fruita and Moab all last week. Didn't ride with Lance Canfield, though I was on my brand spankin' new Balance.

Agree with cylcelicious, loving my Balance. The downhill capabilities were everything I was expecting, but what really surprised me was the technical climbing capabilities. Far exceeded my expectations on that front.

No worries. I met and talked with Lance about 18 months ago on the shuttle at Bootleg. Cool guy. When I bought my first Canfield in 2013, I went up to their facility in Bellingham. Test rode Chris's personal bike, and then just hung out and chatted with Chris and Sean for about an hour and a half about bikes and life in general.

Aside from making amazing bikes, and having the best customer service in the business, I love the fact that they are pretty much regular guys who have a passion for bikes and love to shred.

Cool. Rode with him in Moab back in the early 2000s. We even did the DH thing riding the chairlift in Moab.

I, too, met Lance in Moab recently. I was in need of a bike demo and wanted to try a Balance (the Canfield shop in Moab hadn't opened yet) and he graciously loaned me his bike for the day!

So while I didn't ride with Lance, I rode Lance's bike
I like 'em long, low, slack and playful

Didn't even know about this. Missed their grand opening by a couple weeks. Will definitely check that out on my next trip down there.
