    Mid or Short Cage?

My gear set-up is going to be 9sp 36 up front and a 11-28 or 32 cassette. My pocket can't afford trial and error at this stage.

I'm no expert but I believe that a short cage would be in order. My stock Voltage has a 36 front and 11-36 in rear with a short cage. I think medium would be in order for a 2x in front.

Short cage for sure. Mid are for 2 chainrings and long are for 3 chainrings.

Short cage if you're getting 11-28. If you need a 11-32 or bigger get an XC bike lol

Short cage. I run one with an 11-36, you'll be fine.
