    making own website

    how do you get your own website? would i have to pay or down load anything on my computer?
    I HATE WORK, WORK IS BAD, WORK = NO BIKE, NO BIKE = NO GOOD

    No, well it depends on how much space you need for you website. Yahoo gives you a couple megs for the most basic website stuff. If you need a lot of space you will have to end up paying for it.

    To write webpages all you need is notepad and some form of a browser. Might help to either take a class, buy a self help book on HTML/Javascript or look for it online.

    A basic web page is pretty easy to do even for a noob like you.

    i think there was a website that explained it pretty well... i built my own site offa dat.

    like webmonkey or something.... i can't remember.

    use a program like macromedia or microsoft frontpage, it'll make designing it a lot eaisier

    Pretty much every ISP out there gives you free webspace. They might even give you some free templates and stuff to help you get a page up.

    If you want a real site, you will have to learn to do html, or use a webpage editor like frontpage or dreamweaver. You might also want to learn to use FTP, it's very handy for uploading to your site.

    Hosting is pretty reasonable if you decide to pay, I use Hostony.com, 5000MB storage and 80GB transfer for under $10 a month. Includes a free domain name too.
