Magura Louise BAT lever change ?

    hello all,

i have GHOST FR Northshore 800 with Magura Louise BAT 2009 brake system, i have a "problem" with the levers, the brake handle in the lever is to far for me, i need to lose a little from the grip in the handlebar to reach it, i want to know if i can switch the lever to other Magura lever with better modulation, or to other company lever (like the shimano saint lever).

I believe there is a separate reach adjustment screw you can use to move the lever closer to the h-bar, independent of the BAT adjustment.

You use a 2.5mm allen key in the hole next to the BAT adjuster.

    I'd try that first.

Only Magura Louise levers, or specifically designed replacements, will fit there though.

This should do it. I have adjusted mine this way numerous times. The only difficulty I had is that the hole is small and you can't see if the allen key is in the screw. And it took some force to get it to break loose. So much force, I thought the allen key was wedged in between something and not in the screw. Once it broke loose, it was easy to adjust.
