    Lyric u-turn for freeride?

I am on the market for a new FR fork to put on my Shova LT with 7" of rear travel. I live in New England and the fork needs to be strong enough to stand up the abuse of shuttle/DH two weekends out of a month but light enough for AM weekdays. I know that the Totem maybe a better option for this, but right now I can get a Lyric u-turn for a good deal. Please tell me what you think.

Depending on how good of a deal you are getting, I would have to say fork out the extra $$ for the Totem (I love it). On the other hand if the Lyric rides anything like a Totem with less travel you will not be dissapointed. My brother loved his on his SX trail.
