    Lubing MRP chain guides

Hi I'm just wondering what lubes can be used for mrp chain guides? Heard a lot having issues on using wrong lubes and having the guides breaking up. Can TF2 extreme wet lube from weldtite be used?

    Here's what MRP says:

I've been using Rock N Roll Gold for years with MRP products and haven't had any problems.
No idea if it's approved or not, but it's not giving me any headaches.

I also use Rock-n-Roll Gold. It's been fantastic. I used to use Boeshield T-9, and the RnR seems to lubricate just as well, and picks up far less dirt. I've noticed zero plastic degradation/brittling that other solvent-based lubes like T-9 would have on MRP stuff.

On that same note, MRP, if you're listening, you CAN change your plastic formulas you know. You really can. There are TONS of plastics out there that can deliver great impact AND chemical resistance. Better do it quick before another company beats you to it.

I use Triflow on my XC bike with an MRP guide and Triflow on my DH bike with an e13 LG1 guide. All is good
I'm thinking about shreddin' it up right now!

I think you need to be more careful with the MRP, as it is lighter weight and more fragile, hence I think some of the lubrication issues are related to using it outside its intended use.
