Lost the BB out of my maxle

So I am helping a guy rebuild his DH bike and I manged to loose the BB out of the maxle that provides the clicks. I figure it is only there to help indicate when it is tight enough, but I feel bad and would like to replace it. I think the BB that was in there was aluminum which was interesting. Is there a way to get a replacement? Should I try and grab a steel one. It just has to sit in the hole in the wedge on the non drive side, is that right?Lost the BB out of my maxle-fk7224_1024x1024.jpeg
Looking for a Medium Scott Scale frame, preferably a 2012 in 26.

I lost one, from what I understand you are correct. I ordered one :P mostly cause I brought it up when I was at my LBS. I have no idea where you would purchase individual ones but if you find one that fits should work the same

I bet if you took the time to call rock shox they would send you one out free of charge.

Pretty sure a part like that will have to be gotten from RS directly, you could either go to the bike shop and they will do it or you can call RS directly. I'd call RS directly, cut the middle man out and have it sent directly to you. As said above they may even send one out for free, I know that I stripped the head on my thru axle for my Fox 40 and Fox replaced it for free even knowing it was my fault. I imagine RS will have just as good of customer service so give them a shout, it's probably cheap if you do have to buy it
