I love the details - looks like you were so excited about this modification that the minute you finished working on the bike you dropped your tools and grabbed the camera.
    Very nice.

    WestCoast,

How is that 02 Monstor matching with the Rear End? We are talking
2 or 3 inch difference no? I did not see the bumper,I guess I am mis-
understanding the post. I see you have no bumpers on that Monstor
though. When I see that Bike,I think of a Line I saw from a Rasta
on Judge Judy once. "Titanium Respect,Titanium Respect Your
    Honor!"

    WCH-

So, are you retiring old red? I see him sitting in the back , sulking, sipping a Pabst and bumming out there.

    ZDANK-

That is crazy 43 LBS! That's 3 lbs lighter than my chap!

I am liking that Fox AirDH idea myself... I think for my kinda riding it would be perfect.

the "bumper" is my new (to me) black monster to replace my old silver one (in background against the fence). the black/black matches the bike better than the silver/red.

as for the front/rear travel difference, i think the combo works great, i never notice any kind of unbalance feel. i've been running this style of monster for a long time on frames with 9" of travel and nevet thought i needed a bigger fork. as a matter of fact, i don't even want a fork with more travel, i don't think it's necessary.....

Is some of the best there is...LOL! The odd thing about the Monster T is how plush and yet how effective its damping is to control bottoming when it's set up right. It has two HSCV carts like a Super T, but there must be something going on with stanchion size and maybe other factors to make it such an awesome fork. If if wasn't for weight, I'd still have mine.

I was thinking it would be really noticeable. I have a Avy on my 8 with the 02
Monstor and I love it. I have never ridden a bike with Different amounts of Travel.
Like TNC said,it seems like a endless 7",but the Fatty's Travel is even more.
    Beautiful Bike WCH.
