Looking at buying a Morewood Izimu: couple questions.....

Hey, I'm looking at buying a 2006 morewood Izimu frame, and had a couple questions about the bike. I'll be coming off a vp-free, so I'm a little hesitant to go with a single pivot design. It doesn't have a floating brake, so is brake jack going to be a big issue? Can I install an aftermarket floater if this is the case?

Also, it's a large frame, so I'm guessing it'll fit my 6'2" carcass perfect, right?

The shock is a cane creek double barrel. Anybody have any thoughts on this shock?
I kinda wish my brakes actually worked, but I guess that just makes me faster, right?

It will feel different than the VP-Free and it might take you awhile to get the shock dialed but once you do it's a very capable machine (see Cole Bangart). I think the 06 frame had a floater option. I don't find the brake jack to be a problem. It's there but you just learn to brake differently and it doesn't slow you down. I like how the back end squats under braking actually, it's really not a big deal IMO.

The shock is great, super adjustable.

Just got a 07 with a double barrel and love it so far. The DB helps you dial in the single pivot to your style and eliminates much of the single pivot pedal bob. The Izimu is lively and active in feel.
