knee/shin pads for tall skinny rider?

I've rented tons at downhill parks, but im always re-adjusting my pads due to being skinny and nothing fiitting tight enough.

    Any recommendations?

Squats/deadlifts? Personally I just gave up on full shin coverage and went with kneepads (Fox Launch Pro.)

I agree with the above. I used to run 661 knee shin plastic stormtrooper guards, but then I tried some 661 Rages. Love them, and I dont' miss the shin coverage.

But if you're wanting the full package, have a look at the POC Bone VPDs. They're very good.

I had the same problem with motocross knee/shin pad and I would buy the youth ones and they fit me perfect.

How tall & skinny are you?

    I run these knee pads:

& Pair them with these shin pads:

I love the combo! When I am riding less tech DH I will just leave the shin sections in the truck. Works out great for me
