it's the dhso model with a Romic 7.25 rear shock, i'm considering putting on a Manitou 8.75, my question is should i drill a hole so the new shock will fit or will it mess the bike up? and if so where is the best place for the hole?

I wouldn't mess with the frame, I'm pretty sure its meant for an 8 inch eye to eye length shock so an 8.75 definatly wouldn't fit and that frame is already very weak and drilling it would probably weaken it further.
