Keep or Sell...24in DoubleWide rear wheel

After building up my bike I have a 24 in Doublewide Rear wheel with a 2.7 inch maxxis on it that is not on my bike.

Instead i put a rhynolite rear rim on trimming the weight and massive "overdo-ing it" factor. I could sell the wheel and tire and get more money for other things or I could keep it incase my other rim broke but I am torn, the rhynolite is a pretty strong rim and the doublewide is almost too big for my style...water tires almost.

    What would you do?
(this is not an ad but if anyone wants it and i feel its best to get rid of it PM me)

I am really in a mental pickle because it is in great shape but i could use the money for more parts/ tuition but I dont want to sell it and have my rear rim be weak

My threads are typically awful. Thanks for putting up with them.

    Offer a free Becks

the 24 inch rear wheel was kinda of a fad a few years back. Can't remember specifically why it flopped, but your better off with a 26 inch wheel. Notice you don't see anyone running them any more. You can try and sell it, but you probually won't have alot of bites. If you really want to off load it, you can offer a free 6 pack of Becks, and a few porno mags to go with it. I know of a sucker in Socal who can't pass up free Becks, and you can probually get a few bucks for the wheel. thumbsup: .

I say buy a 2nd 24" Double Wide and an run dual 24's!!
oh yeah...you need to ditch the 2.7 for some gazzy 3.0's.

Can someone post some pics of dual 24's?
I know it's not smart from a performance standpoint...but nothing looks cooler.

Smaller wheels don't roll over things as well. Lower top speed as well.

If you want, I got the said Gazzi 3.0s, haha. And Arrow Prime Bite 2.75.

    My old dual 24 setups.

they also have a ugly tendency to fall into holes and stall the rear end. the basic idea was quicker acceleration. the result was slower bikes.

If I had the cash, I'd snag it.
I want to run dual 24's on my Armageddon, with Arrow tires...go old skool with it! I'm slow on that thing anyways, so its not like that would change.

Or I've been watching Down too much...

    ohhh, classifieds are fun,

I have a medium V-tach frame only for sale. Would not recommend 24s though.

My 2000 Big Hit. I ran a Gazzo 3.0 on a 24" doublewide on the front and a 24" Rhino Lite with a Gazzo 2.6 on the rear.

24's are silly and novelty only imo. Sell it and get something legit and practical.

26 inch wheels are the ONLY option!!!! 24 and 29 inch wheels are fads. Nothing will ever be better than 26 inch wheels.
