    Just curious on drops/jumps...

It seems a lot, well really most, pics I've seen of someone doing a big drop or in a jump shows the rider sitting while in flight/drop. Are you supposed to be sitting at the landing if you have the travel? I noticed that I'm always standing throughout the jump (or attempt). Is there anything wrong with that?
Any married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing.

nooooo....definately stand...bigger drops and jumps require you to take up at least some of the shock as your legs compress...it probably looks like they are sitting because when you land you compress down to the seat (sometimes past it).

not to mention a lot of the long travel bikes are a bit taller than the XC counterparts. and sometimes seat placement is limited because of wheel paths. for example:i am a short rider so my seat is almost all the way up my inseam even while standing just to avoid the seat for being destroyed by the rear wheel while landing..

They may have also bunny hopped at the top, and pulled the bike up towards themselves

yeah like ont he big hit, you need to cut the seat post alot if you are shorter, and since the long travel bikes are higher, it may look like you are sitting in the air, but you really aren't.
