    Just bought a new setup.

I just ordered the 2006 Jamis Komodo 3.0 frame from Jenson.

I also placed an order with my shop for a Pike 454.

I snapped my old hardtail frame so I figured its a good excuse to borrow mom's credit card.

I can't wait to get this thing sorted.

    I hope you told her...

There's words for people like you. Think you (your mom) could budget this in?

Yeah I'm stoked. I have had a real tough time keeping myself away from urban and freeride stuff this week. I had to vent a little and I took my XC rig out on some of the light urban stuff. That was a mess. Horrible geo for that. I need a good back up rig for Urban.

I just ordered a gold King headset and a pair of Mavic 823's laced to Dimensions to finish off the setup. I'm pretty sure that's everything that I'm gonna need.

As for the other parts, most of them are off my old rig:

Brakes: Hayes Nine - 180mm Formula Rotors
    Cassette: SRAM PG970
    Cranks: Truvativ Hussefelt
    Derailleur - Front: SRAM X-Gen
    Derailleur - Rear: Shimano XT
    Fork: Rock Shox Pike 454
    Grips: ODI Rogue Lock-On
    Handlebars: Gravity Carbon DH
    Headset: Chris King
    Pedals: Crankbrothers 5050X
    Saddle: WTB Laser V
    Shifters: Shimano Deore
    Stem: Truvativ XR (Upgrading Soon)
Tire - Front: Maxxis Holy Roller
Tire - Rear: Maxxis Holy Roller
    Wheel - Front: Mavic EX823 - Dimension 20mm
Wheel - Rear: Mavic EX823 - Dimension QR

Oh yeah, and I'll definately be posting pic's when I get the parts and it's all built up. I'm hoping to have it finished by the end of the weekend. I 2-day shipped the frame and the fork and wheels aren't getting in untill thursday.

Eh, if I get anything done brakewise I'll probably just get a pair of Formula Oro's or Code's. Risky ol' Hayes will have to do for now.

Yeah, now that's a cool mom. My parents don't want anything to do with biking.

Sweet man. I kinda wish the cables weren't routed above the top tube but I won't be too picky. What size is yours?

Mine's definately going to be more of an urban build because specialized dissapointed me in not having any P.2 Cr-Mo's left this year. This one will have to fill the void.

I've heard the color looks amazing in person, what's your take? I was thinking I would possibly get it powder coated if I didn't like it, brown isn't my perferred color on a bike.

Just got off the phone with my shop and he said QBP isn't listing the Mavic 823 and Dimension wheelset on there so he is going to look into it a bit more. If not I told him to just hook me up with the Gravity DH Wheelset.
