If you could choose any color scheme...

Like it says, If you can have any color set on your DH rig for next year what would you choose?

I have some ideas about what I want but I am fortunate enough to be in a position where I can choose anything (within reason) but it cannot be the "norm." I wanna see what y'all would choose or even what you like.

If there is something that comes up that I like and use on my frame for next year I would be willing to put some cash down for the person that came up with it!

    Have fun

Here is a a pic (cited from banshee) https://bansheebikes.blogspot.com/

First, are you one of the lucky fifty Legends?

I'd go hand polished aluminum with the tarnished gold style lettering like on the black 2008 Pyre mk II

I'd be going for almost an old fashioned metalwork feel to it

just the first idea that came to mind

    If you race...

    Tubing = POLISHED aluminum
    Black ano'ed linkages
White Banshee decals/lettering with UCI blue-red-black-yellow-green pinstriping...

    Hey guys,
Thanks for the suggestions, keep em coming.
Karupshun, I am signed up as lucky Lengend #41 right now. (http://bansheebikes.blogspot.com/)
I don't think I have been more excited about a season of riding than I am about this one. I am pretty lucky to be a part of this!!! It is still hard for me to concentrate at work these days, I feel like a little kid trying to contain my excitment

Anyway, I think this is such a great opportunity and wanted to share my ideas with y'all right from the beginning. I don't get to do this kind of thing everyday

Right now I am thinking about several diff color combos:
    1) raw with matte black links and white/black decals
    2) sparkle british racing green with raw links and silver decals
    3) charcoal with silver flecks with white/red decals
    4) screaming yellow with black decals

Ray, that idea of UCI pinstripping is cool! My pops could do that pretty easily.

For sure! It's been an idea of mine for awhile...but I'm NOWHERE near good enough of a racer to pull it off.

Do it. I want to see my idea executed...

i'm partial to either subtle colors, neutral or darker tones, or incredible flamboyant colors...

On that frame i'd be interested to see a gold sparkle, with chrome decals, and flat black links... or the opposite of that...

flat black with gold sparkle links and decals.. yea..

    It's not a Sunday

Congrats on being one of the chosen ones. the Legend is going to be one hell of a ride. Please keep us posted on how it is in the spring

More ideas on a drunken blizzard day:
How about polished aluminum with Blue anodized links and blue lettering?

    another one

Etch the logos into the tubing and put a lightly tinted lacquer and gold ano links

I really like suggestion #2, but go white links and white lettering

Here's a little something I photoshopped a long time ago. It's not the Banshee, but just to get the general color idea across. Its a good mix of loudness but still keeping a natural tone.
