    i really liked this one....

    but the lighting was bad (under a tree canopy)

    can anyone take it and lighten it up some, without it looking all flush....

    That's a great shot.

    I'll take a stab at doing some lightening when I get home in about a half hour or so if someone hasn't already by the time I get to it.

    Here's a quick job, can't play with it too long right now. Unfortunately, the image is such that it's not going to lighten well because there's so much dark space...

    I have ridden that trail up by Castaic...very fun indeed. We should hook up for a ride.

    it's actually about a 20 min drive north of Castaic........

    tomorrow at 5:30?? we will be going back out to take some more pictures, most likely even some video........

    ...adjusted tone balance, color maps, and 1 level of sharpening...about 8 minutes...

    yo glue sniffer, this one seems to be the best.... thanks a lot man, and to the rest of you who tried to make this picture come out better.

    seems this pic is a very stubborn one. i think it's hard to get some good shots here because of the trees...... (well, at least for us amateurs)

    where in oregon (ie: north, south...) we are looking for a couple more stops on our whistler trip here in a couple weeks.....

    (edit: duh... pdirt the Willamette Valley Freerider, is probably somewhere around willamette??? )

    I'm in Eugene, we can do Falls City(near Salem), or Post Canyon ( that's Hood River area) boith have some really fun stunts and drops..

    ..or the WIllamette Pass, of coarse, for some Gravity assisted DH/FR... lots of local skateparkage if your into that, as well...
