Hydration pack alternative: would you rock this?

Seems cool...tool access without having to unstrap and dig into backpack, built in hydration bladder, more even weight distribution.

    What do you think?

totally agree, I did a superman impersonation on my snowboard a few years back with my mobile phone in a chest pocket and cracked a rib, so in short, no, I wouldn't wear that.

Plus how hot would it be?

FR or TF (Tec. Force)? Would be cool for paintball and such.... Don't see any use for it in riding...

ogio released a version of that vest for skiing and snowboarding last year and it was sorta succesful, i saw a bunch of guys in jackson hole with them, but it makes no sense for biking or mx cuz its way warmer than a simple and you dont have any advantages over the pack

I asked the same question about why people wouldn't run the Police/Military issue vest by CamelBak and people said things like, "Cuz' it's stupid." Whatever...

Personally, I think it would be a cool idea. Depending on the tools you keep, it could offer some protection and passing, and it certainly wouldn't fly around your back like even the best CamelBaks have a tendency to do.

    Meh.
