    How to paint a frame.

I am looking to paint my old giant yukon frame. I just want to know the process and all of the materials needed. This is my first time painting a frame so I am using an old relatively cheap frame but I still want the job done well. I am sure that a couple people have done/tried this before so if they could help me that would be cool. I didn't know exactly where to post this so I just posted it here. Anybody who can help please tell me. Thanks

    I would try this:

sand it down with a rough grit
apply any body filler ya might want to
sand it down with a finer grit
apply your primer in a couple light even coats
wet sand it with super fine grit
apply several fine even coats of your base color
apply your clear coat in several fine even coats
    wet sand with super fine
buff it till it shines like dime in a goats ass

Be advised that i am no expert
