How to... fix a manipoo kingpin

I just wanna get it in good working order before I sell it... there is a lot of play in the bottom end.

there is 1" of play, ummmmmm..... when there is weight on the fork it sits at 7 1/2" when there is no weight on the fork it drops down (or adds travel) too 8 1/2 inches.... so all the play is vertical... it is not "sag" but loose play

any ideas, there is oil in the left leg (drive side), but none in the right(brake side), is that right? or is there supposed to be oil in both like I think there should be... or is it just not worth fixing.

I have a M. stance flow, can I use parts off of it to fix this one?

I hate manitou and I just want to get some money out of it but I don't feel right selling a fork that is only half functional

BUT if I must cut it in half I guessI will...

I am riding a marzocchi and will *never* *ever* ride manitou again.

Just take it to your LBS and have em ship it back to manitou, they'll know exactly what to do with it because you'll be 1 of 5,000 others to do the exact same thing.

It's not a fair comparison between a Kingpin and a 888 or 66. The Marzocchi Drop-Offs are pretty poor. The Dirt Jams are even worse.

And having dealt with Marzocchi CS for customers (and myself) at several different shops, I will NEVER pay retail for a Marzocchi product.
