how do you load up your dh bike?

    Hey guys,
So my girlfriend just got a downhill bike, I use moto x straps to load up her bike in my pickup, is this the common way to do so, or is there a better alternative?

I usually just lay it down and I have pieces of foam i use to protect the bike if theres more then one in there, the straps should be more then fine. I would use that or rope

i just throw them in the back if it's three or less. if it's more, i flip them upsidedown and alternate the way they face (lined up parrallel to the cab) and throw a tiedown from the front of the bed to the bike on the end and it's all good....
