    you need to be edumacated

it's a variation of a Lawill type linkage with an added shock linkage, so it's a 6 bar.

No sir. I was in the wrong. That's why it said "shameful".

I didn't want to advertise in the classifieds at the same that it was on ebay. It wouldn't be fair if some one bid on it and then it got bought from the classifieds.

It will go in the classifeds if it doesn't sell on ebay.

    Cheap ass?

    Indeed!....................
    I resemble that remark.

Nada. Chaparral will have to do it all for a while.

Might consider getting something bigger at the end of the summer when prices are down.

So now here's the question, do you feel like the Chap would hold up better to serious abuse over the Stryke?

    Yes, without a doubt.
The Stryke is a solid, well-made frame, but its not Banshee strong (some might say overbuilt and heavy).

IMHO, the Chap is a tougher & more versatile frame and thats why its staying.

I don't think its an apple to apples comparison though. The range of use for the Stryke is not the same as the Chaparral.

The Chap is more "heavy duty trail"/"middleweight FR" while the Stryke is a more trail/all mountain/light FR oriented frame.

I guess there can be a grey area there, but that's my opinion anyway.
