Those are nice, but they're not 3.0, more of a 2.7. Not sure what he plans to use them for, but I would look at either the IRC Kujo or the Nokian Gazzalodi. Both are a true 3.0.

Honestly, I'm curious what your plans are for these tires?? I've used 3.0's and thought they were crap. Just curious.

    24's

I really want them for a custom cruiser I want to build.
I won't be racing on these, I want to build up a super burly beefy singlespeed urban assault vehicle with dual 24 x 3.0 tires and disc brakes...

so really i'm looking for some slightly used tires.

I used to run a 24x2.7 on the rear of my dh a ds rig when I lived in norcal...lots of fun!

    thanks

That sounds so cool, post pics when you get it built. Good luck. I would also try posting on Ridemonkey and HCor.net.

    hookworms or gazzys

If you want some sick urban tires, throw a pair of 24x2.5 hookworms on there. Not super high volume, but big enough, super tough and wicked for urban.

I've got a heap of 24" tires in my garage. Got a 2.6 Gazzy in really good shape, a 3.0 Gazzy in good shape, and 3 or 4 2.7 High Rollers, all new or really good shape. You could have the Gazzys for cheap... watermoccasin11 at hotmail.

    cool...

    Thanks for the info...

I have a line on an entire 24" disc wheelset with some 3.0 tires included. if that falls through I will drop you a line for sure about picking up some tires.

and yeah, the hookworms rock...I've got them on one my other urban vehicles! ;-)
