    how much higher is the 05 66RC or 66rc2x then a 2006 boxxer ride

    going from memory the 6" 66 was the height of the 8" boxxer. the 7" 66 is about an inch taller.

    A2C on the '05 66 RC (in 170mm mode) is 595mm.

    A2C on the '06 66 RC2X (170mm) is 555mm

    Boxxer Ride (170mm)..... I "think" it is 545mm, but someone more knowledgeable than I will likely chime in on this one.

    Exactly. My old 170mm 66 ('05) was taller than my buddies 888 with flat crowns.

    There have been several '05 170mm 66RC owners that broke the steerer tube because of the very high AC for a single crown. That is why for my '06 66 RC2X, Zoke advertized the Alloy Steerer Tube to give more sense of strength. The 66RC has very tall lower legs that the 150mm version has an AC of 575mm while the 170mm 66RC2x has 555mm.
