    Headset help...?

What is the best short headset out there?
Can I use integrated headset on the regular frame? Are they as good as non integrated?

    Thanks!

your frame has to be pre-designed to accept an integrated headset, you can't just throw one on any old bike.....
and usually a frame designed for one style, dosen't accept the other design....

What would be a good short (50mm) stem with low height?

the KORE B1B is pretty short and even comes in a 35mm.

but it isn't for a 31.8mm bar if you need that...

    shortest "durable" headset

would be the Aheadset Tank, stack height is @ 1" if memory serves me. Cromoly cups. Trust me I went through all this when I was trying to fit the Shiver on my Big Hit.

the your sh!t outta luck, because thats the shortest strong headset out there. Weird you had problems with yours I've been using one for months now and not an issue. Perhaps you torqued the headset cap to tight, causing premature failure. What happened to yours?

I got my Jr.T on, and it started losing itself up after 10 mins. I'm very careful with stuff like headsets and I doubt that it was my fault. I was loosing it self up even with stock DJ2.

you need an Azonic headlock, starnuts s@ck and I would never trust them. maybe that's why mine has never had a problem. I wouldn't blame the headset for the looseinig though, sounds like faulty setup somehow. Oh well, since your options are limited it should be intersting, good luck.

the only E13 Zero Stack that I'm aware of is the reducer cups for 1.5 headtubes. check it...E13 1.5 zero-stack reducer cups

Aheadset does make a headset with a stack height of @ 22mm, but I wouldn't use it for DH/FR riding like Lucky is doing.
