    Haro 357

Sorry if I'm off topic, there's not much in the Haro forum.
is anyone riding a 357, and if so what do you think?

I was confused, it's in the 2007 catalog and the local dealer tells me he can get them. I just got off the phone with Haro, the 357 is NOT in production. The fellow there told me that they didn't sell well, but you have to wonder if that was the true reason.
It looked like a great deal, but like my buddy Mike said, he would question a new DH bike for $2,500.
Ah, the search will now resume for next seasons bike, or I guess I could stay with my SGS...

They were really long, bad pivot placement, frame design issues (eg swingarm hitting mainframe)...They were generally shunned by most . If you're looking for an affordable new DH bike, I'd check out the Mongoose EC-D.

That's a good question... but it's possible that they showed a discontinued rig just to fill a temporary hole in their lineup?

Makes sense...it took them long enough to come out with something over 5-6". The next one is still going to be a simple single pivot again, I'll bet. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I rode a haro for a good while and it held up better than most of the other bikes I've ridden.
