    Good deal?

    IronHorse 7point7 - Pinkbike.com
Hey guys I'm new to the whole DH/FR ordeal as I ride mostly bmx and enduro. I was just curious if this is a good deal or not. I got a pretty good deal worked out with him as far as shipping wise as well. I haven't really found much else for less than a G used. It looks in pretty good condition as well. Any input is appreciated! Thanks

Really depends on how good condition it's in. I'm a huge Iron Horse fan, still ride a 7point and a MKIII, but considering there are zero spare frame parts available I would be very cautious. I see a nice fork, decent frame, but the rest of the parts are bottom line and keep in mind it's a 2005 model (7 years old!). From the pictures it looks plenty thrashed, looks like a big dent on left chainstay on the DW logo. They have some mean trails in AZ that eat bikes and parts.

It's not a ripoff, BUT If it was my $800, I'd try to find something newer or nicer.

ehhh --- $800's not too bad for that whole bike.

sorta old skool design --- stuff today is way better.

no mas IH so.... that's a tough call. buying a bike you can't get anymore.

we used to sell IH, pretty good stuff. The Sunday was only model l really like, the rest weren't bad for the price point.

Bike condition aside, stinky sucks performance wise. iron horse is better. Durability and maintenance wise, the Stinky is more reliable. hth
