    New question here. gnar brake levers

    ok so who knows a pair of good brake levers that are worth every penny and i wont be dissapointed. Keep in mind the brake levers are for mech disc brakes.

    What ST said. If you use/like the Speed Dial feature on Avid levers, get the Avid Ultimates.

    If you don't use that feature, get the Paul Love levers.

    No better brake levers for mechanicals.

    All assuming you are using the Avid mechs. Every other mech disc brake sucks balls in comparison.

    F.U.N.N torque twisters are sweet... they have the little ajuster knobs... I found they gave my brakes more power and better feel...

    ya i was an intelligent man and bought the avids. Smart friend almost made me buy the hayes mechs. Anyways, how much are those F.U.N.N levers?

    While I'm sure those are functional levers, they've got nothing on the Avids.

    The Avids [or Pauls] are machined aluminum with dual catridge bearing pivots. They're completly rebuildable, and have removable/reversible clamps.

    Those Funns (and most other levers) are forged with bushings and lots of stamped-steel bits.

    The Avids are pricey, but it sounds like the OG poster wants the best.
