Full face for large head size

Ok, not totally original, I just saw the small head size topic and thought it a good id to share my problem here...

I have a relatively large head (64cm) and most helmets go to 62cm... What manifacturers make them bigger? Any user experience is welcome.

i have a pretty big head and had some issues with fit so here is my story...lol

661 Evolution Striped XL- Crown on helmet fit fine but my face was touching the face bar all the way around and seemed like my face was so far out.

661 Fenix XL (MTX lid) Fit amazing and so comfy but has a larger profile and a bit heavier

TLD D2 XL/XXL- Fit was really good, comfy and pretty light would like it a tiny bit larger but not bad at all. My face was a bit close to the front but not as near as the 661 EVO. Sits a little above my jawline when wearing goggles but not too bad.

Giro Remedy L- Seemed like the roomiest of the helmets. My face was nowhere near the face shield and it was very roomy. Although it seemed to be the largest profile helmet of them all.

My head is just under 24 inches and kinda have a tall head. I went with the TLD D2 and am happy with it but probably would have went with a Giro CF if i could go back. Moto helmets like the 661 come in xxl so that may be your only option if a mtb ff doesnt fit but my 661 Fenix is not to heavy where i notice it. Hope that helped

I use Troy Lee Designs D3. Super comfortable and it comes in XXL 63-65. Stay away from MX helmets. They are heavier for stronger impact. Plus MX helmets have mouth guard much closer to your face to prevent "roost" in your face. Good for MX but not for DH.

I use a Fox Rampage. I usually wear a large, but I had to go with a x-large for it to fit. Just an FYI.

Second the L Remedy. Only one that I could find to fit my freakishly large melon.

I've got a 64cm noggin too, mainly due to a kinda wierd bony bit at the back of my head... and I've found that the 09/10 TLD D2 XL/XXL fit me the best. I tried pretty much every other helmet, but nothing felt quite a "right" as the D2.

I haven't tried the D3's yet though, as I don't need a new helmet yet, but they'll probably be my first stop when i do!

i third the remedy. i have a big round melon and the large is a smidge on the big side for me. i've found that the TLD and THE are a bit smaller. if i had tried them on before the remedy i'd have probably gone with the TLD.

64 cm head Remedy is the only helmet that fit, THE was not even close. TLD XL was a tad tight

A large THE is indeed to small for me, but in my memory a Remedy was also a tad on the small side with a pressure point on my forehead. A friend of mine has one and I tried it on some time ago.... I'll try it one again if I see him (he currently lives a bit far away...) and I'll try to find someone with a large TLD
Has anybody any experience with Fox helmets?

I have a large head and the Remedy is the only helmet that works for me. I've tried an XL THE The One and an XL 661 helmet (forget which model). I wear a 7 3/4" hat for reference.
