    Fox 40 Whooshing sound?

Okay so i have recently bought a 2007 fox 40. I just opened it up and replaced the oil (50ml of 10wt oil in either leg) It is nice and plush now but when it compresses about 30-40% travel it makes a 'whoosh' sound. It doesn't do it if the fork is compressed slowly. Any ideas what it could be?
    Cheers

Mine made it a bit it was the damping or oil flow on compression side my 2012 spring clanks around too but honestly I'm too busy riding to sweat it and never hear it.
Alot of forks do it I wouldnt sweat it...

Sometimes its something but usually its your more attentive to it being you just worked on it....
Or while you weren't looking a woosh monkey crawled in there in which case he's better damping anywase.

normal fork sound, oil rushing through a damper.

Not familiar with the 40, but worked on a lot of forks, not one fork I have worked on is silent.
Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?

Its just a normal sound. My Roco Air is ridiculous, its so loud, but its smooth and I'm too busy having fun riding to worry about it.
