    Fox 40 Oil Change

I checked out fox's website for instructions on how to change the oil in the lower legs. I found a couple things but need a little more clarification. I have a 2012 40 and my HSC and LSC is on the top on the fork. All the instructions i found show it on the bottom.

I have never changed the oil and the last think I want to do is screw my fork up. Therefore, I'm a little hesitant about doing this myself. Any suggestions or advice? How difficult is this?

Ok, so on the fox help link that deathatbirth posted, do I do everything including the damper service or do I skip that part and do the rest? Is there a certain kind of grease I need for the BB in the adjuster? Where can I find the crush washer and other parts needed?

no, if youre just changing the lubrication oil, go right to the "changing the oil" section under "2011 product selector."

you dont need new crush washers but if you do it often, itll be a good idea. your LBS can get them for you. they are very cheap. are you talking about the detent ball in the rebound adjuster? any grease is fine.

I'ts super duper easy. remove the bottom 'stuff', drain bath oil, refill. You can usually re-use the plastic crush washers 5-6 times.
