fork question for 02 Kona Stinky Dee-Lux

I know "which fork" questions are overdone, but I am looking to get a fork for my 02 Kona Stinky Dee-Lux (Vanilla RC in back w/ Dangerboy linkage for 5.5 or 7 in of travel) and would like some advice. I was thinking Super T for a while, then Stance Kingpin, and now Sherman Flick. I weigh 180lbs and will mostly ride ski-area terrain (fast DH, technical DH, small drops, no big hucks) so I want travel but not at the expense of sharp steering. I think a longer travel (150mm) single crown fork fits this bill, but what flex issues can I expect with a SC fork? Lastly, I am looking to spend under $500 - thanks for your help.

go for a marzocchi Z series or a 66, both stiff as hell (if thats what you are looking for) and plush. Much stiffer than any manitou. Go with zocchi
    For sale:
Jamis Dakar Sport Full Suspension XC Bike 2001
    Marzocchi EXR comp 2004
