    fork leaking oil..

so im about to get a sweet deal on a new downhill bike however the fork is pretty ghetto..its a 888 custom painted and is leaking oil..the kid whose bike it was put some type of bond on it and taped around the fork and put bash guards over it-do i NEED a new fork right away or can i ride it for the time being? im planning on hitting some lift access places on it, rock gardens and drops...

really gotta think about what you're saying when you say "need". Would it be safe to ride on a fork that's leaking and could blow out? Probably not.

    I would start with grammar.

And yes, post pics so we know what you're talking about. A picture worth a lot more than words in this case. Way more than the 1000.
