    Fork Bumpers Denting Bighit ?

My 14 yr old sons Bighit is developing two very prominent depressions where the fork bumpers contact the frame. One of the reasons I chose a Bighit for him was Specialized's reputation for excellent warranty and customer service. What are the chances that this could result in a frame replacement ? The bike has been ridden hard and crashed a few times but these dents look to be the result of the bumbers hitting the frame during hard but normal turning , and not from abuse or neglect. It almost appears to me that the mono design is not compatible with a double crown fork. I don't see how anyone could ride this frame hard and not have this develop.

woodman . Chanses that it will be replaced are close to 0 as it counts as normal wear. It's from crashing, not turning. When I had Jr.T. rubber stops did not harm to the frame.

    typical carnage

All of the big hits in the LOD have suffered the same damage due to the fork slamming the frame when wiping out. There are some micro spider cracks but it is just in the paint. these bikes have been beat hard and have hold up good. you should have no problems,Grantels LOD

Mine has a big dent in one side as do most peoples. The solution I have heard is to move the bumpers onto the oval downtube as it is less prone to denting. I have been told that the dents cause no frame strength decrease.
