I'll have a course report available friday night, as I plan on spending the afternoon there that day. Hopefully this course will be as good as the last one

if you guys are interested, I could also make a paper version of the Big Bear petition for MTBR-ers to pass around to try and collect more signatures for the cause.

OK - this course is pretty fun, mostly sections we've seen before, with a few surprises towards the top. It's reasonably tame, but a lot of the turns are pretty loose, I let some pressure out of my front tire to compensate.

He went to 1 or 2 of the winter series races. I'll be there with Mike, the guy on the Santa Cruz hardtail.

just got back - yes, the heat is nasty, but not unbearable. It's a single couse, and is pretty fast, if you can get in a good rhythm. See you guys there!

I was thinking about going down there, but not to race. Maybe another day..

What is the spectator scene like... is there usually big crowds, families, just locals.

I just want to get an idea on how big this even really is.

well I woke up and felt like crap so i went back to sleep. I don't really have an excuse, I just didn't really feel like going. But I'll be at the next race for sure. Is there another series starting or is just the summer races that are all over the place?
